Our very own owner, Janet Hamada, is featured in the June issue of Riviera Magazine - Orange County... highlighting all of her charity work and how she has incorporated philanthropic strategies to get people to give back.

While Janet knows that I am writing this blog post.. she thinks I am going to just talk about the fashion... but I wanted to take a second to highlight HER.

I've been at Moderne for over a year and yet, it is still surprising to learn that Janet Hamada is this involved with charity work. Sure, you hear her always on the move- going from one meeting to a networking mixer to charity event... But it turns out that she really is THAT involved.

Janet is constantly looking to tie Moderne into community events - not only for marketing / branding purposes, but also to get community involvement from our customers and local clients. Turns out that she is truly dedicated to provide Moderne as a vehicle for philanthropy.

Through Moderne Cares - the shopping fundraiser facilitated through online sales and donations- our store is able to reach a separate demographic who may have been apprehensive in making their $200 dress purchase. Moderne Cares allows customers to spend their money wisely... all while getting a discount for their own order.
